Defense throughout. Fought three operations.
OPERATION MEGHDOOT
In Siachin Glacier at the
height 19000 feet. Recommended for Yudh Sewa Medal for Gallantry in the face
of the enemy.
OPERATION RAKSHAK
Deployed in Punjab at Mehta Chowk in Heart Bed of Terrorist Activity. Killed in encounter a hard
core Terrorist Hardev Singh Kalia having a reward or Rs. 1000000/- on head.
OPERATION BLUE STAR
Deployed in Golden Temple and directly responsible for evacuating the dead and wounded from Golden Temple Complex. Recommended for the Army Commanders commendation card for exceptional devotion to duty.
CIVIL
Took premature retirement in 1994 and joined Five Star Hotel Industry. Served in Surya
Hotel, Le Meridian, Radisson Hotel and New Holland India as Chief of security and Fire safety.
Awarded certificate of merit for exceptional presence of mind and devotion to duty in solving many security related cases.
